Whether you are new to health care or a seasoned professional, training is an integral element to all who work in the sector. If you are an existing health care professional we can provide NVQ Level 2 to 7 qualifications delivered in the workplace. These qualifications are essential to progressing your career. Alternatively you may consider undertaking an apprenticeship, whatever your age.
Apprenticeships also offer the NVQ and also an underlying understanding of your role through the achievement of technical certificates. You even get to choose specific topics of relevance or of interest.

New entrants to the health care sector
Almost uniquely, demand for jobs in the Care Sector outstrips supply of certified staff. To work as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) the employee will have to have undertaken a certified induction. The certification is a two day classroom based assessment with the training delivered by a professional health care trainer supported by accredited DVD’s.

The social care sector covers all the occupations whose aim is to help people overcome difficulties related to physical, mental, environmental or lifestyle problems at any stage in their lives. It includes staff in both professional and non-professional roles that support vulnerable people living in the community and in residential care.
Social care is high on the Government’s agenda, with a focus on the integration of health, social care and education to reflect the overlap between these areas of life.
